Group Core Identity and Purpose
- We believe exclusively and wholeheartedly in the God of the Bible. (Mark 12:30)
- We believe God shows compassion, love, and mercy toward every creature, preserving both people and animals alike. (Psalm 36:6; 145:9)
- We believe God wants us to likewise show compassion, love, and mercy toward every creature by living a peaceful, non-violent plant-based lifestyle that accords with God’s original and perfect will for creation. (Luke 6:36, Genesis 1:29)
- We believe in the inherent sanctity of all beings (Job 12:10) and in promoting both human and animal liberation. (Isaiah 58:5)
- We believe living a vegan lifestyle benefits health, the environment, animal welfare, and spiritual life. (Genesis 1:29, Daniel 1:15)
- We believe in speaking truth, including teaching and promoting Christianity to vegans and veganism to Christians, without hindrance or suppression. (Ephesians 4:15, Acts 5:29)
- We believe God’s plan is to restore the peaceful world He created in the beginning (Isaiah 46:10, Acts 3:21), reconciling all things to Himself. (Colossians 1:20)
- We, along with all of God’s creatures (Romans 8:19-22), look forward to a time when all of creation sings praises together to our Creator. (Revelation 5:13)
General Beliefs
- We believe Jesus is the inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God, and that the Bible, when read correctly, points us to all truth. (2 Peter 1:19, 2 Timothy 3:16–17)
- We believe in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) existing in three coequal, coeternal, consubstantial divine persons: God the Father (Isaiah 64:8), God the Son (John 1:1, 14), and God the Holy Spirit (John 4:24), three distinct persons sharing one homoousion (essence or being).
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), in His sinless life (1 Peter 2:22,) in His miracles (John 2:11), in His atoning death through His shed blood (Romans 3:25), in His bodily resurrection (Luke 24:6-7), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and in His personal imminent return in power and glory. (Matthew 24:42-44)
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Romans 10:9, John 14:6, John 3:3, 1 John 5:11-13, Titus 3:5)
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. (Galatians 5:16-17, Romans 8:9)
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29)
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 12:5)
- We believe God is our heavenly Father, (1 John 3:1) the creator of heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:1, Colossians 1:16)
