Start your new life with Christ!

Today is the day of salvation, start your new life with Christ!

“I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2, NIV)

These are the steps to gain eternal life in God’s Kingdom through Christ Jesus.

Step One:

I acknowledge that sin separates me from God; sin is doing things my own way instead of doing things God’s Way. I choose to do things God’s Way.

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2, NIV)

Step Two:

I believe that with Christ I am reconciled to God by being born again. I no longer live for myself or conform to the ways of this world.

“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (John 3:3, NIV)

Step Three:

I commit to living my life with Christ. I surrender my will to God’s Will, humbly trusting Him for all things in my life. I also commit to being a disciple of Christ.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20, NIV)

Step Four:

I accept my new life with Christ, represented by water baptism, where I declare that I am dying to self and being raised up with Christ to live for God.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, BSB)

Step Five:

I am ready to start my new life with Christ!

I pray:

“Merciful, Loving God,
I acknowledge I fall short of your ideal, and I am a sinner. I humbly ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and You raised Him to life. Give me a heart to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and transform my character to reflect Your Will. Thank You for being my Savior, Lord Jesus. I pray this in Your Holy Name. Amen.”

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24, NIV)
