The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it. - Psalm 24:1

Founder / Admin / Author

Kathy Dunn

My name is Kathy Dunn. I am the founder and an author at Shepherding All God’s Creatures blog. SAGC exists to provide Biblical teaching about God’s love for ALL creation. We hope to bridge the gaps between (a) the animal welfare movement and the church, (b) the church and the Biblical mandate to be good stewards. I came to Christ at age seventeen. I had a profound experience meeting the Lord when the Holy Spirit filled me. I was filled with such joy! It was a mountaintop experience. Like the song, Go Tell It On The Mountain, I wanted to shout out to the world that the God of the Bible is real and He filled me with joy and profoundly changed my life.

Web Designer / Video Producer

Lily Marie

Hey, I’m Lily, a born again Christian, vegan and freelance web designer currently based in Northern California.

The best decision I ever made was coming to Christ, back in July of 2000. A few years after that I felt called to world missions, and I started with an international missions organization called Youth With A Mission. Through my studies with YWAM and being on staff, I spent time in Kona Hawaii, Switzerland, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Mexico.

The second best decision in my life was going vegan, in 2016. This happened after seeing some horrible graphic footage on how animals are treated, and finally coming to the realization that I was paying for that by eating or using animal products.

Social Media Coordinator / Author

Roslyne Smith

Born in the UK, where I live with my husband, we have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. I’m Coordinator of Animal Christian Concern (ACC) and blog at Shepherding All God’s Creatures; I’ve also been involved in Bible Study Groups, Children’s Ministries, Christian Healing Ministry and Animal Blessing Services. I was raised Christian and in 1983, became fully committed to Christ. Totally unaware of the spiritual journey I was about to take, I began to hear through the media about the plight of commercially and legally abused animals in laboratories, factory farms, bloodsports, fur-trade, entertainment etc. This really troubled me, so I joined animal welfare groups and sought out cruelty-free products wherever possible.

Our Late Friend and Colleague

Timothy J. Verret

Former Newsletter Coordinator / Creative artist, and winner of the Vegan Spirituality Sermon Contest. Timothy will be dearly missed by all of us at Creation Care Church. To watch his memorial video, click here.

After I watched the video “Meet Your Meat”, I realized I needed to be vegan. I could not believe what I was witnessing. It seemed like hell on earth, watching these nonhuman farm animals going through the most heinous abuses and unspeakable cruelty on factory farms, where 99% of meat consumed by humans come from. It was the most horrible thing I had EVER seen, and I knew I had to do something, and that “something” was to go vegan.

Instagram Manager

Sharon She

Born of Okinawan Buddhist heritage in Hawaii, I was nurtured in the love of Jesus by a missionary church. In college, I was discipled by Campus Crusade for Christ and freelanced as an illustrator/graphic designer while serving on church audio-visual worship teams. As a Christian vegan, I continue to use my gifts to advocate against the exploitation of animals and share the joy of going vegan for Christ on social media.

New Initiative Coordinator

Kelsey Ursula Harkness-Jones

Vegan, Wife and Mum to 5 rescue dogs and 7 Koi! I helped create CCC’s Instagram account, linktree, and fellowship meetings so we can reach out to people of faith and of no faith, vegan or non-vegan, and tell them of good news for all creation.

Chris Grant

I am a long-time vegan, animal advocate, and Christian. Combining these passions is what I feel God created me for, and my raison d'ĂȘtre. I'm a proud husband and father of two talented young boys.

Zoom Fellowship Coordinator

Fred Bur

I have been a Christian believer all of my adult life. After giving up other things before, I gave up getting meat about sixteen and a half years ago, and I have now been effectively vegan for ten years.

Internal Communications Coordinator

Shay Klingbiel

Life long Alaskan and follower of the Lord. I love cooking vegan food for friends, caring for the numerous animals who live at my house, gardening, reading and encouraging others.

Treasurer

Christina Lepre

I am a mom, a wife, and a full-time accountant for a large Church. I started eating a plant-based diet in 2013 after watching the movie Vegucated and have learned to veganize many recipes that my family enjoys. I quickly became disappointed in Christianity's lack of compassion for God's other animals and wanted to do more to get the word out. With my skills in Church accounting, I was excited to volunteer for Creation Care Church as their Treasurer. Finally a Church for ALL of God's creatures!
