Did God Give Permission to Eat Animals after the Flood?
People often cite Genesis 9 as irrefutable proof that God changed his mind about the original dietary instructions, adding animals to the menu. In this video we take a closer look at the conversation between God and Noah in Genesis 8 and 9 and consider it in the context of several other passages and principles in the bible. Was it permission God was granting or was it a warning?
I’ve been active in ministry, missionary work, Bible study groups, animal advocacy, community outreach, and in many other callings of the spirit. In 2013 I started swords2plowshares.com, where I began posting important things I learned throughout my years of service, focusing on topics that are often overlooked, under-emphasized, or misunderstood by the church today.

Any argument that says we are not to eat animals is wrong. In Deuteronomy 3 the eating of animals is entrenched in God's law, where He distinguishes between (for want of a better word) "edible" and "inedible" or "non-edible" animals. Hence, therefore and thus, we are allowed to eat meat. Also consider Paul's words on not eating meat in the New Testament.
