Hi there, Could you give me your take on the animal that God sacrificed to make clothing for Adam and Eve in light of disobedience. Do you have. An already prepared serman that I could watch? Also, I’ve heard the theory that the fruit that Satan tricked Eve with was actually animal flesh…very confusing! I’d just like to your take on it.

Hi Carol. You can watch our talk on this, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chTkYxzfk4U&list=UUZPCdh9OhAJtsS1bEYIpYWA&index=13 (You can find this also on our website or on Facebook) There are different theories on what the fruit was. It was an effort by Satan to persuade Adam and Eve to disobey God. He tempted them with the idea that they could determine for themselves what was right for them (you shall not surely die Satan said in opposition to what God said about eating from that particular tree; the tree could be an actual tree as some hold; or it could be metaphorical for being tempted to choose for themselves their ways and become like God, knowing good and evil - at this point one can say they only knew good or were innocent). It was a half truth that Satan told them that they would not die. They did not die a physical death, but became subject to a spiritual death.
