Go Vegan For Lent!
Lots of people within and outside the Church give up something for Lent. During this time, many Christians do this as a way of drawing closer to God. For those who observe Lent, we suggest encouraging people to give up animal products for 40 days and do a Daniel fast, based on Daniel, Chapter 1, where he doesn’t eat the King’s delicacies, but instead asks for vegetables to eat for 10 days.

Jesus Tempted in the Wilderness
Lent is also based on where Moses fasts for 40 days and nights on Mount Sinai to be with God. It’s a great time for doing this if you feel you need to make changes in your life and improve your walk with God.
For anyone wanting to know more about Lent, it’s the time when many Christian churches commemorate the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert with the wild animals before starting His ministry, enduring temptation by Satan, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke.
